How to add twins to a genogram
Twins are drawn with their lines to the parents meeting at a single point, with a bar between them for identical twins. In Genogram Creator you start from one twin and add the other.
Works the same on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Step by step
- 1
Select one of the twins
Open your genogram and tap the person (click on Mac). Their details panel opens: on the right on iPad and Mac, sliding up from the bottom on iPhone.
- 2
Turn on Is twin
Open Identity & Names (on iPhone, the Identity chip) and turn on Is twin, near the bottom of the section.
- 3
Choose the twin type and add the sibling
Choose Fraternal or Identical, then tap Add twin sibling. The second twin is added beside the first with the matching twin lines.
Tips
Or start from the parent line
Tap the line between a child and their parents and use Add Twin Sibling (Fraternal or Identical) in the panel that opens.
