How to show households on a genogram
In a genogram, a line drawn around people shows who lives together. Genogram Creator calls these family groups. It builds them for couples and their children, and you can make your own.
Works the same on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Step by step
- 1
Turn on Family Groups
Family groups are hidden by default. Tap the Family Groups button in the toolbar on iPad and Mac, or tap Views (the layers button in the toolbar on iPad and Mac, or the More tools menu (…) on iPhone) and turn on Family Groups.
- 2
Make your own group
Select two or more people (see bulk editing), then tap the cyan Group button next to the trash on iPad and Mac. On iPhone, tap More tools (…) and choose Group N Selected.
- 3
Name and style it
Tap the shaded group area. Type a Household name, add or remove members, pick a color, or Hide or Ungroup it.
Watch it
